After the 2016 by-elections in Verdun, David Cox joins once again the Green Party of Québec again for the 2018 provincial elections, this time in the riding of La Fontaine. With the years, the candidate always identifies with the eco-socialist, multicultural and feminist values of the Party, which he intends to put forward this autumn.
David Cox's goal is to improve the protection of natural resources and, more specifically, its biodiversity. He would like to ensure that future generations can access and enjoy a healthy environment. That's why he always chooses the Green Party of Quebec because it fervently fight against food waste, air and water pollution, urban sprawl, and much more. David is also pushing for free public transport to offer alternatives to private vehicles. In parallel with an expansion of networks since the Montmorency region is landlocked and undeserved, he hopes to improve public transport in the region.
Locally, the candidate considers the rendering method of the plant Sanimax a serious attack on the environment. Not only this one causes nuisance for the water but also for the residents : the smell and the risks of contaminations is very preoccupying. Also, the candidate wants to fight against air pollution related to refineries. As a father, the candidate continues to prioritize the crying needs of the education system as well as to promote the youth of the province by giving him access to stable, innovative and rewarding jobs.
In this regard, for him, every vote for the Green Party of Quebec proves that the ideas defended by the party resonate with the population. He would like to ensure that our province and its citizens are healthy, educated, prosperous and supportive, and would be honoured to count on your support in the upcoming 2018 elections in La Fontaine. Every vote counts!
